Instead of “If you can read this”, it's also correct to say, without changing the meaning,  
a)  “If you like to read this”.  
b)  “If you want to read this”.  
c)  “If you have the desire to read this”.  d)  “If you have the ability to read this”.  e)  “If you have the permission to read this”.​
